What's next after Simple Katana for vagrant samurais? Do we have any at all?

If you're like me and running craftsman/samurai then to my knowledge the last katana that can be crafted and counts as a crafted item is effectively the Frost Tiger Blade at level 35, but sadly that's a green so vagrants seem pretty cooked. There's one more (blue) main-hand katana a bit down the line but its DPS is eclipsed by the Frost Tiger Blade anyway, and since we're craftsmen we can't really put anything in our offhands anyway, nor can it be dual-wielded owing to its main hand property. Craftsmen/Samurai are in for one hell of a challenge, and vagrant on top of that seems extremely spicy.

I started my journey earlier today with "Way of the Samurai", Vagrant and Craftmaster just to realise it's not possible? I mean makes sense it is supposed to very pretty hard journey but as of now we barely have any options, I'm supposed to play with my starter Bokken until level 18?

Honestly it feels like an amazing journey taking those 3 challenges, crafting your own gear, not being able to use powerful items etc... I guess I'll have to wait until more craftable white katanas are avaiable, otherwise it doesn't make much sense doing those 3, perhaps only Way of the Samurai by itself is the only option now

How do you do Vagrant and Craftmaster? I do not see that you can craft a common armor beyond copper

Exactly, you can't, I just tried it out but obviously I wasn't aware that there are barely white existing katanas to craft besides those at level 18?

I then sacrificed my char and made a new one with only samurai challenge.

Kind of a badly implemented challenge at this point in time. Ive completed hc vagrant warrior in turtle and that seemed more fun as even at lvl 50 you still had one weapon upgrade from DMF to look forward to. But in this case you only have a random chance to acquire a better weapon than a level 35 weapon. Even that white piece of meat from DMF has a higher dps well i guess having green armor compensates for it but still im supposed to be a samurai not a vagrant
Also i know im getting into real fedora territory here with m'comment but proper samurai from the war era were trained in pretty much all the weapons and bow was one of the most important one. They were basically simply warriors. Having thrown weapons allowed and not bows kind of sounds like some ninja fantasy and not really samurai. I UNDERSTAND however that we are in this case in the game we are supposed to RP the peace era kind of "ronin" wandering samurai, but even they had some kind of tanto or wakizashi that are short swords and in classic wow we have this kind of dagger that looks exactly like those so why arent those daggers allowed? And also if we are supposed to be thinking of those "ronin" type of samurai then why is wearing plate allowed when those were mostly worn on the battlefield, and there those samurai used bow and spears and daggers too....
I know i may go into too much depth here and overthink this challenge but adding some or removing some restrictions really shouldnt be that much work as adding new weapons to make the challenge less grueling... just some ideas... jeeez im such a nerd...

The last craftable katana i found was for lvl 40 1h "Wicked Mithril Blade"
